If you are flying in/out of Omaha\, you’ll need to schedule your arrival by 3:00pm on Friday and departure for after 3:00pm on Sunday. Retreatants are invited to enjoy a reception at Chris and Phileena Heuertz home Sunday afternoon before you return to your home. \nMany retreatants coming in from out of town rent a car. DESCRIPTION:April 4-6\, 2014 \n$325 \nRegister Here \nDeepening retreats are for people who are acquainted with the history and methodology of contemplative spirituality\, have a daily prayer sit practice (like centering prayer) and who desire to deepen their practice. \nRetreatants gather together for approximately 8 silent prayer sits and 3 yoga sessions. Prayer sits are separated by a meditative walk\, healthy meals\, yoga practice\, prayer with the monks\, and solitude for personal rest and reflection. \nDeepening retreats give participants the opportunity to exercise significant amounts of solitude\, silence and stillness within a supportive community; bringing more balance to the contemplative and active dimensions of life and faith. \nRetreatants leave Deepening retreats rooted in their spirituality and able to draw from a deeper well as they engage their active life. \n  \nArrival and Departure Information \nThe retreat begins Friday with dinner at 6:15pm followed by an opening session that ushers in Grand Silence until closing session on Sunday. The retreat ends Sunday after lunch. Lunch is served at 12:15pm. \nThe Benedictine Retreat Center in Schuyler\, NE is about an hour and a half drive from Omaha. If you are flying in/out of Omaha\, you’ll need to schedule your arrival by 3:00pm on Friday and departure for after 3:00pm on Sunday. Retreatants are invited to enjoy a reception at Chris and Phileena Heuertz home Sunday afternoon before you return to your home. \nMany retreatants coming in from out of town rent a car. A couple weeks out\, we will be in touch regarding transportation options for those who may need a ride. If you are driving and are willing to help carpool\, please let us know. \nWe look forward to sharing sacred space with you. \n
