Mindy Durias is a life coach and home educator from Portland, Oregon. She has been homeschooling her 5 children (the youngest now 10 and the oldest, 21) for 14 years. In 2013, she met Phileena and Chris, whose friendship and mentorship set her on a path of studying and practicing contemplative spirituality. Since then, she has taught a variety of contemplative classes in her own spiritual community. She loves music, being outdoors (especially in the sun!), reading, having meaningful conversations with the people she loves, and cooking tasty food.

Morgan Harper Nichols

Popular Instagram poet and artist Morgan Harper Nichols has created her life’s work around the stories of others. Morgan’s popular Instagram feed (@morganharpernichols) has garnered a loyal online community, and she is the author of All Along You Were Blooming, a book of poems and art she created in response to the personal stories submitted by her friends and followers. Known for its lyrical tone and vibrant imagery, Morgan’s work is an organic expression of the grace and hope we’ve been given in this world. Morgan has also performed as a vocalist on several GRAMMY-nominated projects and written for various artists, including a Billboard #1 single performed by her sister, Jamie-Grace. Morgan is often on the road creating, teaching, and performing, in hopes of spreading her unique inspirational message and inviting others into her creative process. Morgan currently resides in Orange County, California, with her family.

Anahi Salazar Angulo

Anahi Salazar Angulo is a proud public school educator. She teaches in Spanish for the districts’ dual immersion program. While teaching is her vocation, she also has her graduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Education Policy. Anahi is committed to the long, arduous work that is creating equity within education. She believes in the power and freedom that derive from schools and filter into communities.

Gabes Torres

Gabes Torres (she/they) was born and raised in the Philippines, and is now based in downtown Seattle working as an artist, speaker, researcher, and psychotherapist in training. Gabes’ passion is to do decolonizing and antiracist work, where she not only becomes part of a movement that exposes and dismantles oppression in our cultures and systems, but where she also creates and sustains spaces of collective healing, growth, and freedom for marginalized communities.

Gabes writes poetry and music, and occasionally performs in the city. She independently produced 3 albums of original music, and her first one was launched in the Philippines when she was 17. Her songs capture a wide variety of themes, including identity, belonging, and liberation.
