Mindful Silence at the Rabbit Hole Lectures | Memphis, Tennessee
August 30 @ 6:00 pm
Theology is a journey to know God more, yet Scripture is clear that part of that journey is getting to know ourselves — because we are the Imago Dei (image of God). To know God well, we have to be willing to know ourselves well.
One of the greatest tools church mothers and fathers, theologians, and counselors have all used over the last 2,000 years is the Enneagram. For some, this has been reduced to a personality assessment, yet when understood and applied as it was originally intended, we find the Enneagram becomes a lens through which we see how we’re made in the image of God and how we can find ways to grow more into a fully-alive human.
Rabbit Hole Lectures are designed to take people down the “rabbit hole” of theological curiosity. Their hope is the expand hearts and minds, and in turn extend the potential of change and influence of every person who attends.
Join Christ City Church for their next Rabbit Hole Lecture series with Phileena Heuertz, author of Mindful Silence: The Heart of Christian Contemplation. Ticket information coming soon.
