A Two and a Half Day, In-Depth Enneagram Exploration in Omaha
Once you understand your Enneagram type as a path to transformation and wholeness, what’s the next step?
How do you continue your journey of growth?
At this point, you might know the answer to the question, “Who am I?” Perhaps the Enneagram’s answer to this question has helped you relate to others and God.
But has this exploration left you curious? Are you itching to learn more about the nuanced subtleties of this ancient wisdom tool? Are you ready to be left with more questions than answers? This workshop is for everyone who is familiar with the Enneagram but ready to go deeper into its beautiful, mysterious intricacies.
Over the course of the weekend, Chris will provide a rare introduction to the Enneagram’s Instincts and Subtypes, an advanced elaboration of the Enneagram’s Passions and Fixations, and some of the most accessible material on the Enneagram’s Virtues and Holy Ideas.
This workshop will be more of a discussion than a teaching. We hope you’ll come ready to engage with questions, wrestle with frustrations, and ponder the graces of this ancient wisdom tool.
Topics in this workshop include:
- Instincts and Subtypes – Learning to observe our innate impulses as they relate to the Enneagram’s instinctual drives
- The Holy Ideas – Working with Oscar Ichazo’s notion of the Holy Ideas as psycho-catalyzers for clarification of consciousness
- What are the deeper dimensions of the Passions? – Understanding the Passion is our necessary first appeal towards reconnecting with Essence, while understanding how we experience it in each of the 3 Intelligence Center

About Chris Heuertz: Chris has spent his life bearing witness to the possibility of hope among a world that has legitimate reasons to question God’s goodness. Chris has taught the Enneagram all over the world (in places like Morocco, Thailand, South Africa, Indonesia, and New Zealand) and is the author of the upcoming book, The Sacred Enneagram: Finding Your Unique Path to Spiritual Growth.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Chris studied at Asbury University in Kentucky before moving to India where he was mentored by Mother Teresa for three years. While living in India, he helped launch South Asia’s first pediatric AIDS care home, creating a safe haven for children.
In 2012 Chris and his wife Phileena launched Gravity, a Center for Contemplative Activism.
Named one of Outreach magazine’s “30 Emerging Influencers Reshaping Leadership,” Chris is a curator of unlikely friendships, an instigator for good, a champion of collaboration, and a witness to hope, Chris fights for a renewal of contemplative activism.
