Gravity is co-sponsoring this special community-wide meditation event open to residents of the city of Omaha. 

Omaha Meditates is an invitation to dedicate one minute or more to greater well-being. Participate at any time during the 24 hour period. Sit, stand, lie down, or walk. Choose whatever approach best allows you to be fully attentive to the present moment. Take part while at home or join a hosted event.

Please join us, along with Omaha’s growing community of meditation practitioners in making a pledge to practice meditation on January 1, 2018. Together we can promote greater well-being in Omaha.

You are welcome to join Phileena and others at The Gravity Center for a 12:00pm sit on January 1. Email her at phileena.heuertz@gravitycenter.com to reserve your space.

If you are brand new to meditation, don’t worry! Phileena will offer brief instruction before the 30-minute sit. And there will be time for questions and response about meditation practice after the sit.

The schedule will be as follows:

12:00 -12:15  basic meditation instruction

12:15 -12:45  meditation sit

12:45 -1:00  questions and response accompanied by warm tea
